TAX COLLECTION

The Elizabeth Township Tax Collector is the elected municipal officer designated to collect school district and municipal real estate taxes levied under the Pennsylvania First Class Township Code. All Tax Collectors in Pennsylvania are elected by the voters for four-year terms. The Tax Collector’s office is located at the Elizabeth Township Municipal Building.

The Tax Collector is the only individual authorized to collect your tax payments.  The preferred method of tax payment is utilizing the black drop box located outside of the Municipal Building labeled "TAXES".  If you'd like a receipt, please include a self addressed stamped envelope with your drop-off.  You are still able to come into the building to pay your taxes during the Tax Collectors normal hours, but you must ring the door bell on the front door to be let inside the building.  Credit card and cash payments are not accepted.
