Act 537 - Lovedale Pump Station

This publication is a Notice of Intent of Elizabeth Township, Allegheny County to submit an Act 537 Sewage Facilities Plan Special Study to the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection (PADEP). The Plan evaluates options for the replacement of pumps at the Lovedale Pump Station along Lovedale Road in Elizabeth Township.


The Study recommends the replacement of the existing pumps with two (2) pumps in series capable of high head-high flow conditions. The Study recommends that user rates remain the same.


As a requirement of approval of this Act 537 Sewage Facilities Plan by PADEP, the Special Study is being made available for public review and comment for a thirty (30) day period which commences as of the publication of this notice. The public is invited to comment on the Plan, which can be reviewed at the Elizabeth Township office, 522 Rock Run Road, Elizabeth, PA 15037 during regular business hours.
